Etosha Spa

I was in an adventurous mood. I learned about Etosha Spa from the forum threads in Looniesworld. Etosha is a newly-opened spa located at Kamagong corner Banuyo in Makati. As of this writing, they have this promo deal ongoing where the room cost is P500. I hear that the cost will be bumped up to P800 on September 21.

The rooms are clean. The lighting is subdued. I've tried several of the therapists and a number of them are experienced therapists who have left other spas. They give a decent massage but many of the therapists have not yet perfected the art of "teasing the genitals," a technique where the therapists, when massaging the thighs, lightly brush the scrotal area. The "extra service" depends on the therapist and the term "your mileage may vary" is applicable in this place.

All in all, it was a decent experience. Fusion Spa, with their style of hand-holding the client from shower to massage, with their custom of laying out your clothes at the end of a session, still remains my benchmark. But at the very least Etosha meets the minimal requirements---sanitary area, running water, friendly staff, good massage, and a fulfilling ending.
